About Us:
First Graduate believes education is a powerful tool that helps young people overcome adversity, develop character and build community. We are committed to helping young people finish high school and become the first in their family to graduate from college.
We make a 10-year commitment to each student – starting with them the summer after 6th grade to college graduation. Through our comprehensive services—academic support, mentoring, high school and college counseling, family engagement, and college support—our students are exposed to experiences and challenges that encourage them to develop the decision-making skills, leadership ability and good judgment necessary to become successful adults.
All our students are supported by case managers who work with students, families, tutors, mentors, teachers and others to ensure that students are successfully completing each step on the way to becoming college graduates.
