Dear First Graduate Friends and Family,
The First Graduate Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Ahn as Executive Director of First Graduate. Having recently served as Managing Director of the organization, Tom will replace Founding Executive Director Rozanne Junker, who is retiring after a seven-year career with the program.
After an extensive search, we are excited to have selected Tom to lead First Graduate into the future. Many of you are already aware of Tom's accomplishments and dedication to First Graduate. As the founding Managing Director, Tom hired a top-notch team of program associates and case managers and envisioned and implemented the program we are all so proud of today.
Tom brings an array of skills and knowledge of working in this field and with youth that is an ideal match for taking First Graduate forward. Prior to joining First Graduate six years ago, Tom spent twelve years at the San Francisco Conservation Corps providing oversight for program design, planning and implementation and ensuring the fiscal health of a multi-million dollar program. He presents an exciting vision that incorporates the ambitions of our Board, our families and our graduates.
The Board looks forward to working with Tom on the future of First Graduate. Please join the Board in congratulating Tom for all he has already accomplished at First Graduate and his well-deserved new position.
