SFUSD Enrollment Fair

Recently, First Graduate® students and staff attended the San Francisco Unified School District Enrollment Fair at City College. The fair empowers San Francisco families to make an informed choice about the right school for their children, from elementary school through high school. Every school in the district, including public, charter and private schools, was in attendance.

At the fair, families get to speak to school representatives and consider school factors such as diversity, safety, proximity to home, graduation rates, extracurricular programs, AP classes, college preparation programs and more. At First Graduate, we know that choosing the right school environment for a child has a tremendous impact on his or her academic success and path to college.

I was lucky enough to help table for James Denman Middle School, one of our partner middle schools. I got the chance to recruit incoming 6th grade students for our program, and help families start thinking about college early!
