Transition to College with FG10

The College & Career Team (we work with First Graduate students during and after college) is excited to begin working with FG10, our newest class of incoming college freshmen!

To kickoff their journey in college, we recently hosted a 2-day Transition to College (T2C) event. During T2C, students reflected on their identity as a first-generation college student, learned about the differences between high school and college academics, explored potential personal and academic challenges in college, and discussed the importance of establishing a community of support. In addition to workshops, students got the opportunity to bond as a cohort and get to know their College & Career Coaches!

Overall, students left T2C more confident and prepared about their transition to college in the Fall. Best of luck!
