Personal Statement Coaching with Lyft

This week First Graduate® was excited to partner with Lyft, a San Francisco-based rideshare company, for a volunteer event to help our middle school students prepare their high school applications and personal statements. Lyft volunteers worked one-on-one with students, giving them personal application advice. Students walked away from the event feeling more confident about the high school application process.

A special thank you to Lyft who donated their office space for the event, provided dinner for the students, and had over 16 employees participate.

If you or your company would like to participate in or host a volunteer event please contact Ashley Serra, Volunteer Engagement Manager, aserra@firstgraduate.org

That’s why we’re offering you the opportunity to support our generation-changing organization with donations to our end-of-fiscal year campaign. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by the end of this month to sustain the positive impact we have on our First Graduate® students in a way that changes their lives forever.
